As personal information is key to providing our services we have to process some personal data which is detailed below.

3: How do we store customers personal data and for how long.
Angel Cars Limited operates a private hire transport service for the purpose of taking passengers from pick up to destination. As such we need to collect some very basic personal data on our customers to facilitate this process. We do not hold customer data with the view to process it for marketing our products or any other way except in proving the required service(s) required and booked.
- We take bookings onto a booking sheet via telephone.
- We take booking via email
- We hold all public (customers) data in a diary which is locked in secure cabinet on company premises. As back up.
- We hold all customers data on our cloud booking system envoy-dispatch, we aim to hold personal data for 12months of which this is then deleted from all mainframe and servers and the data is no longer accessible.
- All data stored on our cloud booking system is encrypted using SSL/TLS data transportation mechanism.

Customer credit card details are taken face to face in the hired transport by a Pay Pal card reader.

As part of the booking process you automatically opt in to e-mail communication from us as part of the service you are requesting and same as a booking notification, once the transaction has been made this information is stored on our Envoy Booking and management system.
N.B We do not pass data onto 3rd parties unless it enables us to perform services requested by you.
Booking Data is used securely by our operations staff for the purpose of providing the service requested.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
Managing Staff Records & Recruitment
Keeping Staff information & Records
Staff information regarding Names,Addresses, Telephone Numbers,Email & Mobile numbers are strictly confidential and held securely on our Envoy Management App as well as paper copies of medical, licences, applications and reviews driving licences ect filed and locked in a secure cabinet.
All the above can only be accessed by Directors and Management of the company and are only used to help with operations, administration, training and development at work.
Staff Financial Details
All Bank Details of staff for payment of wages by BACS transfer are transferred by the company bank account and can only be accessed by Directors and Company secretary.
All Angel Cars Limited staff have a right to ask for a copy of the information the company holds about them. This includes information concerning grievance and disciplinary issues. The company will respond within 40 days. Any employee files for employees who no longer work for the company are held securely in accordance with data protection regulations.
As recommended by the Data Protection Act 1998, personal information of staff are kept for at least 5 years. We usually keep hold of employees financials for at least 3 years as HMRC may request to see them in this time.
Using CCTV
Angel Cars Limited use CCTV in our booking offices to record the general public purely for the purposes of security and safety of our operational staff and as a deterrent and prevention to crime and criminal activity. NB: CCTV is not used to monitor work done by staff.
The CCTV systems are operated by ARLO www.arlo.com/uk/ with all recordings stored on a cloud system and accessible only by the directors & company secretary. Window signs are placed and clearly visible at booking office. Angel Cars Limited – privacy and data protection.
